Faya Sanders Designer Alexandre Chapelin of LA TABLE has surprised us with his magnificent resin coffee table. Recently, the Saint Martin-based furniture maker has presented his newest model: HAMILTON 23.
Like his past pieces, HAMILTON 23 employs resin, ivory, and wood to evoke a tilted seabed. In tribute to Chapelin’s connection to the Caribbean, the table uses a rich color palette evocative of a seascape. The dazzling, jewel-like blue of the resin superbly distinguishes the sand-colored shade of the marble to depict a sprawling beach. Moreover, Chapelin has fittingly opted to use natural stones originated from the area, ending in a bespoke creation that seizes the unique beauty of the French West Indies.
