Installations of Similarly-Colored Objects Inside Stores by Carson Davis Brown

Using found objects gathered from within big-box stores, artist Carson Davis Brown forms color-specific installations for his photography series Mass. The works are arranged conglomerations of basketballs, laundry baskets, and other mass manufactured goods, each organized by color within the stores they are located. After shooting the works, they are left as is, encountered by passersby as a break from the boredom of the weekly grocery store run and ultimately dismantled by the store’s staff. You can check out of Brown’s experiments on Instagram.
